भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ११०: पार्थभीमयोः प्रहारः तथा भीष्माभिमुखं संग्रामविस्तारः
Arjuna and Bhima’s pressure; escalation toward Bhishma
तद् वयं सहिता गत्वा भीष्ममाशु नरोत्तमम् | नचिरात् सर्वे वार्ष्णेय मन्त्रं पृष्छाम कौरवम्,वृष्णिनन्दन! हम सब लोग शीघ्र ही एक साथ कुरुवंशी नरश्रेष्ठ भीष्मके पास चलें और उनसे सलाह लें
tad vayaṃ sahitā gatvā bhīṣmam āśu narottamam | nacirāt sarve vārṣṇeya mantraṃ pṛcchāma kauravam, vṛṣṇinandana ||
“Vậy thì, chúng ta hãy cùng nhau lập tức đến gặp Bhīṣma, bậc nhất trong hàng nam tử của dòng Kuru. Chớ chậm trễ, hỡi Vārṣṇeya—niềm vui của tộc Vṛṣṇi—hãy cầu mưu nghị nơi ông.”
