युधिष्ठिरं द्वादशभिर्बाह्वोरुरसि चार्पयत्‌ । उन्होंने भीमसेनको बारह

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | yudhiṣṭhiraṃ dvādaśabhir bāhv-orurasi cārpayat | yatamānāś ca te vīrā dravamāṇān mahārathān ||

Translation

Sañjaya thưa: Hắn bắn vua Yudhiṣṭhira mười hai mũi tên, ghim vào hai cánh tay và ngực. Cùng lúc ấy, các dũng sĩ, dốc trọn sức mình, dồn ép những đại xa chiến binh đang bị đẩy lùi—một cảnh tượng giao tranh không ngơi, nơi ý chí và bổn phận (dharma) bị thử thách giữa cơn hỗn loạn của chiến trường.
