Sañjaya nói: Với nỗ lực lớn lao, dốc toàn lực, họ lao ập vào Dhanañjaya (Arjuna). Hỡi chúa tể muôn dân, mục đích của cuộc xung kích ấy là gìn giữ sinh mạng cho vị chúa tể xứ Trigarta.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights how, in war, actions are often justified as protection of allies and preservation of life, yet they remain embedded in larger strategic aims. It invites reflection on kshatriya duty: safeguarding dependents and allies can be presented as dharmic, even while serving broader political objectives.
Sanjaya reports to Dhritarashtra that a force charged at Arjuna with great effort. The stated aim of the assault is to protect the Trigarta ruler’s life, indicating a coordinated attempt to pressure Arjuna and secure an ally on the battlefield.
