रथं तत्रैव संत्यज्य प्राद्रवन्महतो भयात् । अपनी माया नष्ट हो जानेपर सायकोंकी मार खाता हुआ राक्षस अलम्बुष अत्यन्त भयके कारण अपने रथको वहीं छोड़कर भाग गया
rathaṁ tatraiva saṁtyajya prādravan mahato bhayāt |
Sañjaya nói: Bị nỗi kinh hoàng lớn lao đánh gục, hắn bỏ lại chiến xa ngay tại chỗ rồi tháo chạy. Khi ảo lực đã bị phá tan và liên tiếp hứng chịu mưa tên, rākṣasa Alambusha vì quá sợ hãi mà vứt xe giữa chiến địa, bỏ chạy—một cuộc thoái lui nhục nhã giữa cơn binh lửa.
