अथवाभ्यर्थनामिन्द्रो न करिष्यति कामत:
athavābhyarthanām indro na kariṣyati kāmataḥ
Nếu không, Indra cũng sẽ không ban điều được cầu xin chỉ vì tùy hứng cá nhân. Lời ấy nhấn mạnh rằng ngay cả một vị thần quyền năng cũng không được miêu tả như kẻ hành động thất thường; mọi thỉnh cầu đều được cân nhắc theo lẽ phải và trật tự đạo đức (dharma), chứ không phải được đáp ứng chỉ vì người ta ham muốn.
