Adhyāya 90: Babhruvāhana’s Reception and the Commencement of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Aśvamedha
कुटीं प्रवेशयामासु: क्षुधार्तमतिथिं तदा । ब्राह्मण-परिवारके सब लोग विशुद्धचित्त
kuṭīṁ praveśayāmāsuḥ kṣudhārtam atithiṁ tadā | idaṁ arghyaṁ ca pādyaṁ ca āsī ca iyaṁ tavānagha |
Rồi họ dẫn vị khách đang khổ vì đói vào túp lều. Họ nói: “Bậc vô tội, đây là lễ vật nghênh tiếp—arghya và nước rửa chân (pādya)—và đây là chỗ ngồi dành cho ngài.” Đồng thời, họ kính dâng phần sattū thanh tịnh, do lao động chân chính mà có, như một sự tôn kính đối với khách.
