Adhyāya 90: Babhruvāhana’s Reception and the Commencement of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Aśvamedha
स्वर्ग येन द्विजा: प्राप्त: सभार्य: ससुतस्नुष: । यथा चार्थ शरीरस्य ममेदं काउ्चनीकृतम्
svargaṁ yena dvijāḥ prāptaḥ sabhāryaḥ sasuta-snuṣaḥ | yathā cārtha-śarīrasya mamedam kāñcanīkṛtam ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana nói: “Hỡi Bà-la-môn, ta sẽ thuật lại việc: nhờ uy lực của sự bố thí ấy, những bậc nhị sinh ưu tú kia—cùng với vợ, con trai và con dâu—đã đạt quyền được vào cõi trời như thế nào; và khi ở nơi ấy, họ đã khiến nửa thân này của ta trở nên vàng ròng ra sao. Ta sẽ kể đúng như đã xảy ra.”
