इत्यवश्यं मयैतद्‌ वो वक्तव्यं द्विजसत्तमा: । शृणुताव्यग्रमनस: शंसतो मे यथातथम्‌

Transliteration

ity avaśyaṁ mayaitad vo vaktavyaṁ dvijasattamāḥ | śṛṇutāvyagramanasaḥ śaṁsato me yathātatham ||

Translation

“Hỡi các bậc nhị sinh tối thượng, ta nhất thiết phải nói cho các ngươi biết nguyên do ấy. Nay hãy lắng nghe với tâm không xao động, khi ta thuật lại đúng sự thật, đúng như đã xảy ra.”
