Marutta’s Sacrifice and Agni’s Embassy (मरुत्त-यज्ञे दूतत्वम्)
यदर्थ मां प्राहिणोत् त्वत्सकाशं बृहस्पतिं परिदातुं मरुत्ते । अयं गुरुर्याजयतां नृप त्वां मर्त्य सन््तममरं त्वां करोतु
yadarthaṁ māṁ prāhiṇot tvatsakāśaṁ bṛhaspatiṁ paridātuṁ marutte | ayaṁ gurur yājayatāṁ nṛpa tvāṁ martya san tam amaraṁ tvāṁ karotu ||
Agni nói: “Hỡi Marutta, hãy nghe mục đích vì sao ta được phái đến bên ngươi. Ngài muốn, qua ta, đưa Bṛhaspati đến trước mặt ngươi. Ngài đã phán: ‘Vị ấy là guru của ngươi; hãy để ngài chủ tế lễ tế của ngươi, hỡi đức vua. Dẫu ngươi là phàm nhân chịu luật tử vong, nguyện ngài khiến ngươi đạt đến cảnh giới bất tử.’”
