Marutta’s Sacrifice and Agni’s Embassy (मरुत्त-यज्ञे दूतत्वम्)
मरुत्त उवाच कच्चिच्छीमान् देवराज: सुखी च कच्चिच्चास्मान् प्रीयते धूमकेतो । कच्चिद्दवेवा अस्य वशे यथावत् प्रब्रृहि त्वं मम कार्त्स्न्येन देव
Marutta uvāca: kaccic chrīmān devarājaḥ sukhī ca kaccic cāsmān prīyate dhūmaketo | kaccid devā asya vaśe yathāvat prabrūhi tvaṁ mama kārtsnyena deva ||
Marutta nói: “Đức vua vinh hiển của chư thiên có thật sự an khang, hỷ lạc chăng? Hỡi Dhūmaketu, ngài có hài lòng về chúng ta không? Và phải chăng toàn thể chư thần đều đúng phép ở dưới mệnh lệnh của ngài? Hỡi bậc thần linh, xin hãy nói cho ta biết trọn vẹn và chính xác.”
