बभ्रुवाहन-धनंजययोः संग्रामः

प्रसादमस्य बालस्य तस्मात् त्वं कर्तुमहसि । “महाबाहो! यह उस मन्दबुद्धि जयद्रथका पौत्र तुम्हारी शरणमें आया है। अत: इस बालकपर तुम्हें कृपा करनी चाहिये
prasādam asya bālasya tasmāt tvaṁ kartum arhasi |
Vaiśampāyana nói: Vì thế, ngài nên ban ân cho đứa trẻ này. Nó—cháu của Jayadratha, kẻ trí mọn—đã đến nương tựa dưới sự che chở của ngài; bởi vậy, lòng từ mẫn dành cho nó mới là điều hợp lẽ.
