यद्येतत् त्वं प्रतिश्रुत्य न करोषि वच: शुभम् | सकल वृष्णिशार्दूल मृतां मामवधारय
yady etat tvaṁ pratiśrutya na karoṣi vacaḥ śubham | sakala-vṛṣṇi-śārdūla mṛtāṁ mām avadhāraya ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Nếu ngài đã hứa mà lại không thực hiện lời nói cát tường ấy, thì hãy biết cho chắc, hỡi ‘mãnh hổ’ trong dòng Vṛṣṇi: ta sẽ coi như đã chết—ta sẽ tự kết liễu mạng mình.”
