Abhimanyu’s Śrāddha; Vyāsa’s Assurance of the Unborn Heir (अभिमन्योः श्राद्धं तथा गर्भरक्षणोपदेशः)
एवमुकक््त्वा तत: कुन्ती विरराम महाद्युते । तामनुज्ञाप्य चैवेमां सुभद्रां समुपानयम्,“महाद्युते! ऐसा कहकर कुन्तीदेवी चुप हो गयीं। उन्हींकी आज्ञासे मैं इस सुभद्रा देवीको साथ लाया हूँ
evam uktvā tataḥ kuntī virarāma mahādyute | tām anujñāpya caivemāṃ subhadrāṃ samupānayam ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Nói xong như vậy, Kuntī—rạng ngời phẩm giá—liền im lặng. Với sự cho phép của bà, ta đã đưa Subhadrā đến đây, đúng theo mệnh lệnh của bà.”
