Uttaṅka’s Petition for Madayantī’s Divine Earrings (Maṇikuṇḍala) — Agreement, Proof, and Vigilance
गौतमस्य तु शिष्याणां बहूनां जनमेजय । उत्तड़के< भ्यधिका प्रीति: स्नेहश्वैवाभवत् तदा
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
gautamasya tu śiṣyāṇāṃ bahūnāṃ janamejaya |
uttaraṅke bhyadhikā prītiḥ snehaś caivābhavat tadā ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Hỡi Janamejaya, giữa vô số đệ tử của Gautama, vào lúc ấy bỗng dấy lên một tình thương và sự gắn bó ấm áp đặc biệt dành cho Uttaṅka—khiến chàng nổi bật như người học trò được yêu quý hơn cả.”
