मानुष्ये वर्तमाने तु कृपणं याचिता मया । न च ते जातसम्मोहा वचो<गृह्नन्त मे हितम्‌

Transliteration

mānuṣye vartamāne tu kṛpaṇaṃ yācitā mayā | na ca te jātasammoḥā vaco gṛhṇanti me hitam ||

Translation

Vì hiện nay ta đang ở trong thân phận loài người, ta đã không dùng thần lực chống lại các Kaurava; trái lại, trước hết ta đã khiêm nhường cầu xin một sự dàn xếp. Nhưng họ, vì rơi vào mê muội, đã không tiếp nhận lời ta nói vì lợi ích của họ.
