धर्मस्य सेतुं बध्नामि चलिते चलिते युगे । तास्ता योनी: प्रविश्याहं प्रजानां हितकाम्यया
dharmasya setuṁ badhnāmi calite calite yuge | tāstā yonīḥ praviśyāhaṁ prajānāṁ hitakāmyayā ||
“Khi một thời đại rung chuyển và chuyển sang đổi thay, ta buộc chặt cây cầu của Dharma. Vì lợi ích của muôn loài, ta hết lần này đến lần khác đi vào những thai sinh và hình tướng khác nhau, để ranh giới của chính đạo được phục hồi và chúng sinh được che chở khỏi sự trôi dạt vào phi pháp.”
