Ethics of Non-attachment
समूलफल;भि क्षाभिरचेंदतिथिमागतम् | यद् भक्ष्यं स्थात् ततो दद्याद भिक्षां नित्यमतन्द्रित:
samūla-phalabhiḥ bhikṣābhir acendatithim āgatam | yad bhakṣyaṃ syāt tato dadyād bhikṣāṃ nityam atandritaḥ ||
Vāyu nói: “Khi một vị khách bất ngờ đến, hãy kính đãi bằng bố thí rễ và trái. Chớ bao giờ lơ là. Bất cứ thức ăn nào đang có trong tay lúc ấy—chính từ phần ấy, hãy luôn chia cho khách phần của họ.”
