Sāttvika-vṛtta-kathana (Brahmā on the Conduct of Sattva) — Chapter 38
प्रकीर्तिता: सत्त्वगुणा विशेषतो यथाददुक्तं गुणवृत्तमेव च । नरस्तु यो वेद गुणानिमान् सदा गुणान् स भुड्धक्ते न गुणैः स युज्यते
prakīrtitāḥ sattvaguṇā viśeṣato yathādaduktaṃ guṇavṛttam eva ca | naras tu yo veda guṇān imān sadā guṇān sa bhuṅkte na guṇaiḥ sa yujyate ||
Vāyu nói: “Các phẩm tính của sattva đã được trình bày rõ theo nét riêng của chúng, và cách các guṇa vận hành cũng đã được nêu. Nhưng người thật sự hiểu các guṇa ấy thì tuy luôn trải nghiệm tác dụng của chúng, vẫn không bị ràng buộc; người ấy thọ hưởng các guṇa mà không bị chúng trói buộc.”
