एवमुक्त: स शान्तात्मा तामुवाच हसन्निव | सुभगे नाभ्यसूयामि वाक्यस्यास्य तवानघे,पत्नीके ऐसा कहनेपर वे शान्तचित्तवाले ब्राह्मण देवता हँसते हुए-से बोले --'सौभाग्यशालिनि! तुम पापसे सदा दूर रहती हो; अतः तुम्हारे इस कथनके लिये मैं बुरा नहीं मानता

Transliteration

evam uktaḥ sa śāntātmā tām uvāca hasann iva | subhage nābhyasūyāmi vākyasyāsya tavānaghe ||

Translation

Được nói như vậy, vị ấy—tâm đã an tịnh—mỉm cười nhẹ rồi đáp: “Này người đàn bà hữu phúc, hỡi người không tì vết; bởi nàng vốn xa lìa tội lỗi, ta không hề phật ý trước những lời ấy của nàng.”
