Mokṣa-dharma Yoga-Upadeśa: Equanimity, Sense-Restraint, and Vision of the Ātman (आत्मदर्शन-योगोपदेशः)

वैराग्यबुद्धि: सततमात्मदोषव्यपेक्षक: । आत्मबन्धविनिर्मोक्षं स करोत्यचिरादिव

vairāgyabuddhiḥ satatam ātmadoṣavyapekṣakaḥ | ātmabandhavinirmokṣaṃ sa karoty acirād iva ||

Bà-la-môn nói: Người có trí luôn an trú trong ly tham, và không ngừng soi xét lỗi mình, sẽ mau chóng làm phát sinh sự cởi mở khỏi những trói buộc của tự ngã. Người ấy không chấp vào “ta là kẻ làm”, không nuôi khát ái, và nhận ra thế gian bấp bênh, hoại diệt—luôn mang dấu ấn sinh, tử, lão—nên sớm chặt đứt gốc rễ của ràng buộc.
