संवर्त उवाच वज्ञादुग्राद् व्येतु भयं तवाद्य वातो भूत्वा हन्मि नरेन्द्र बज़म् । भयं त्यक्त्वा वरमन्यं वृणीष्व कं ते काम॑ं मनसा साधयामि
Saṁvarta uvāca | vajñād ugrād vyetu bhayaṁ tavādya vāto bhūtvā hanmi narendra vajram | bhayaṁ tyaktvā varam anyaṁ vṛṇīṣva kaṁ te kāmaṁ manasā sādhayāmi ||
Saṃvarta nói: “Hãy để nỗi sợ lôi chùy ghê gớm của Indra rời khỏi ngươi ngay hôm nay. Ta sẽ mang hình tướng của Gió và lập tức làm cho lôi chùy này mất hiệu lực. Hãy gạt bỏ sợ hãi và xin ta một ân huệ khác. Nói đi—điều ước nào trong lòng ngươi ta sẽ hoàn thành?”
