Marutta’s Sacrifice: Indra’s Threat, Saṃvarta’s Mantric Restraint, and Divine Reconciliation (अध्याय १०)
अग्निदेव तुम्हारी सब ओरसे रक्षा करें। देवराज इन्द्र तुम्हारे लिये जलकी नहीं
Agnidevaḥ tumhārī saba orase rakṣā kareṃ. Devarāja Indra tumhāre liye jalakī nahīṃ, sampūrṇa kāmanāoṃ kī varṣā kareṃ, aura tumhāre vadhake liye uṭhe hue aura jalarāśike sātha cañcala gati se cale hue mahāghora vajrako ve Devendra apane hāthameṃ hī rakhe raheṃ.
Saṃvarta nói: “Nguyện thần Agni che chở ngươi từ mọi phía. Nguyện Indra, vua của chư thiên, trút xuống cho ngươi không chỉ là mưa nước, mà là cơn mưa sung mãn của mọi điều ngươi ước nguyện. Và nguyện lôi chùy đáng sợ của Devendra—đã giương lên để đánh kẻ sẽ sát hại ngươi, lao tới với tốc độ bất an như dòng lũ cuộn—vẫn bị giữ lại ngay trong tay của chính ngài.”
