वीर्यवन्तो महात्मान: पौराणां च हिते रता: । “कुरुनन्दन! ये पाँचों भाई पाण्डव बड़े पराक्रमी

Transliteration

vīryavanto mahātmānaḥ paurāṇāṃ ca hite ratāḥ |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Hỡi hậu duệ nhà Kuru! Họ là những bậc dũng mãnh, tâm hồn lớn lao, một lòng vì lợi ích của dân chúng. Năm anh em Pāṇḍava hiền hòa, ân cần với người đức hạnh và kẻ lòng mềm; nhưng đối với bọn hung ác, cứng cỏi, họ trở nên đáng sợ như rắn độc.”
