धृतराष्ट्रस्य वनप्रस्थानानुज्ञा | Permission for Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Forest-Retirement
ददृशे त॑ जन सर्व सर्वाश्व प्रकृतीस्तथा । तदनन्तर महाराज धुृतराष्ट्र अन्तःपुरसे बाहर निकले और वहाँ नगर तथा जनपदकी समस्त प्रजाके उपस्थित होनेका समाचार सुना
dadṛśe taṁ janaḥ sarvaḥ sarvāśva-prakṛtīs tathā | tadanantaraṁ mahārāja dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ antaḥpura-se bāhar nikale aura vahāṁ nagara tathā janapada-kī samasta prajā-ke upasthita hone-kā samācāra sunā |
Vaiśampāyana nói: Khi ấy, mọi người đều được thấy tụ hội tại đó, cùng với các cơ cấu và nguồn lực của triều đình. Sau đó, tâu Đại vương, Dhṛtarāṣṭra bước ra khỏi nội cung và nghe báo rằng toàn thể dân chúng trong thành và các vùng thôn dã chung quanh đều đã tề tựu.
