धृतराष्ट्रस्य स्पर्शाभिलाषः — Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Request for Touch and Permission for Tapas

एवमेतन्महाराज राजा सम्यक्‌ समाचरन्‌ | प्रेत्य स्वर्गमवाप्नोति प्रजा धर्मेण पालयन्‌,महाराज! जो राजा इन सब बातोंका विचार करके इनके अनुसार ठीक-ठीक आचरण और प्रजाका धर्मपूर्वक पालन करता है, वह मृत्युके पश्चात्‌ स्वर्गलोकमें जाता है

evam etan mahārāja rājā samyak samācaran | pretya svargam avāpnoti prajā dharmeṇa pālayan ||

“Đúng là như vậy, hỡi đại vương. Một bậc quân vương, sau khi suy xét những điều ấy, biết tự xử cho ngay chính và bảo hộ thần dân theo đúng Dharma, thì sau khi chết sẽ đạt đến cõi trời.”
