कुन्त्याः वनगमननिश्चयः — Kuntī’s Resolve to Depart for the Forest
केचिद् यानैर्नरा जम्मु: केचिदश्वैर्महाजवै: । काज्चनैश्व रथै: केचिज्ज्वलितज्वलनोपमै:,कुछ लोग पालकियोंपर सवार होकर चले और कुछ लोग महान् वेगशाली घोड़ोंद्वारा यात्रा करने लगे। कितने ही मनुष्य प्रज्वलित अग्निके समान चमकीले सुवर्णमय रथोंपर आरूढ़ होकर वहाँसे प्रस्थित हुए
Vaiśampāyana uvāca | kecid yānair narā jagmuḥ kecid aśvair mahājavaiḥ | kāñcanaiś ca rathaiḥ kecij jvalitajvalanopamaiḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Có người lên đường bằng kiệu; có người đi bằng những con ngựa mạnh mẽ, phi nhanh. Lại có kẻ xuất phát trên những cỗ chiến xa bằng vàng, rực sáng như ngọn lửa vừa bùng—một hình ảnh của vẻ huy hoàng vương giả và sự chuyển động có trật tự của đoàn tùy tùng đông đảo.
