वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic cohesion: people across the four varṇas approach and attend upon the king even in his forest phase, suggesting that rightful authority and moral responsibility continue beyond palace life, and that respectful service and solidarity are shared civic virtues.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that many forest-dwelling Brahmins, along with assemblies of Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, and Shudras, gather and stand around the king to meet him, indicating a large communal visitation in the forest setting.
