सो<ब्रवीन्मातरं कुन्तीं वनं तमनुजग्मुषीम्‌ । अहं राजानमन्विष्ये भवती विनिवर्तताम्‌

Transliteration

so 'bravīn mātaraṃ kuntīṃ vanaṃ tam anujagmūṣīm | ahaṃ rājānam anviṣye bhavatī vinivartatām ||

Translation

Vaiśaṃpāyana nói: Chàng nói với mẹ mình là Kuntī, người đang theo chàng về phía khu rừng ấy: “Con sẽ đi tìm nhà vua; mẹ hãy quay về.” Khoảnh khắc ấy nêu rõ bổn phận của người con và lòng lo che chở—đi tìm bậc trưởng thượng đáng tôn kính, đồng thời khuyên mẹ đừng gánh thêm nhọc nhằn.
