इति सा निश्चितैवाशु वनवासाय भाविनी । लालप्यतां बहुविध॑ पुत्राणां नाकरोद्‌ वच:

Transliteration

iti sā niścitāivāśu vanavāsāya bhāvinī | lālapyatāṃ bahuvidhaṃ putrāṇāṃ nākarod vacaḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: Thế rồi Kuntī, kiên định và quả quyết, đã mau chóng đặt trọn tâm mình vào việc ở ẩn trong rừng. Vì vậy, dẫu các con bà than khóc và khẩn cầu bằng muôn cách, bà vẫn không nhận lời thỉnh cầu ấy.
