पुरोद्यतान्‌ पुरा हास्मानुत्साहा प्रियदर्शने । विदुलाया वचोभिस्त्व॑ नास्मान्‌ संत्यक्तुमहसि

Transliteration

purodyatān purā hāsmān utsāhā priyadarśane | vidulāyā vacobhis tvaṁ nāsmān saṁtyaktum arhasi ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Hỡi người dung nhan đoan chính! Trước kia, khi chúng ta sẵn sàng rời khỏi kinh thành, chính nàng đã mượn lời Vidulā mà khơi dậy chí khí nơi chúng ta để giữ trọn bổn phận kṣatriya. Vậy nên, nay nàng bỏ rơi chúng ta thì thật chẳng phải lẽ.”
