इत्युक्ते विदुरेणाथ धृतराष्ट्रो5भिनन्द्य तान्‌ । मनश्षक्रे महादाने कार्तिक्यां जनमेजय

Transliteration

ity ukte vidureṇātha dhṛtarāṣṭro ’bhinandya tān | manaḥ cakre mahādāne kārtikyāṃ janamejaya ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: Khi Vidura nói như vậy, Dhṛtarāṣṭra, tán đồng lời ấy, đã ca ngợi các Pāṇḍava và, hỡi Janamejaya, quyết tâm thực hiện một đại bố thí vào những ngày thiêng của tháng Kārttika.
