धृतराष्ट्रस्य युधिष्ठिरं प्रति व्यवहार-रक्षा-नियमनोपदेशः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Instruction on Administration, Punishment, and Daily Governance
याचितो य: पुरास्माभि: पश्य कालस्य पर्ययम् । “महाबाहो! सौभाग्यकी बात है कि आज राजा धृतराष्ट्र हमलोगोंसे धनकी याचना करते हैं। समयका उलट-फेर तो देखिये। पहले हमलोग जिनसे याचना करते थे
yācito yaḥ purāsmābhiḥ paśya kālasya paryayam | mahābāho! saubhāgyakī bāta hai ki āja rājā dhṛtarāṣṭra hamalogoṃse dhanakī yācanā karate haiṃ | samayakā ulaṭa-phera to dekhiye | pahale hamaloga jinase yācanā karate the, āja ve hī hamase yācanā karate haiṃ |
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Hãy nhìn sự đảo chiều do thời gian gây nên. Người mà xưa kia chúng ta từng đến cầu xin—hỡi bậc đại dũng có cánh tay hùng mạnh—nay chính vua Dhṛtarāṣṭra lại xin của cải từ chúng ta. Hãy xem vận may xoay vần: kẻ mà trước đây ta từng nhờ cậy, nay lại phải nhờ cậy nơi ta.”
