On the Fruits of Austerity and Giving
नहि ते वृजिनं किंचित् सुसूक्ष्ममपि विद्यते । “वक्ताओंमें श्रेष्ठ पुत्र! तुमने भलीभाँति मेरी आराधना की है। तुम्हारे द्वारा कोई छोटे- से-छोटा या सूक्ष्म-से-सूक्ष्म अपराध भी नहीं हुआ है
nahi te vṛjinaṃ kiṃcit susūkṣmam api vidyate |
Bhīṣma nói: “Hỡi người con ưu tú giữa những bậc thuyết giảng, nơi ngươi không hề có dù chỉ một vết tích sai trái—không một lỗi nào, dẫu nhỏ nhất hay vi tế nhất. Ngươi đã kính thờ và phụng sự ta đúng phép; bởi vậy ngươi đứng ngoài cả lỗi lầm nhỏ nhoi nhất.”
