अध्याय ९५: चित्राङ्गदस्य गन्धर्वेण सह संग्रामः तथा विचित्रवीर्यस्य राज्याभिषेकः
Chitrāṅgada’s duel with the Gandharva and Vicitravīrya’s consecration
ईलिन तु सुतं तंसुर्जनयामास वीर्यवान् । सो<पि कृत्स्नामिमां भूमिं विजिग्ये जयतां वर:,पराक्रमी तंसुने ईलिन नामक पुत्र उत्पन्न किया, जो विजयी पुरुषोंमें श्रेष्ठ था। उसने भी सारी पृथ्वी जीत ली थी
īlina tu sutaṃ taṃsur janayāmāsa vīryavān | so 'pi kṛtsnām imāṃ bhūmiṃ vijigye jayatāṃ varaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana thưa: Taṃsu hùng mạnh sinh một người con tên là Īlin. Īlin ấy cũng vậy—bậc nhất trong hàng kẻ chiến thắng—đã chinh phục trọn vẹn cõi đất này.
