ततः प्रादात् पिता कन््यां रुरवे तां प्रमद्वराम् । विवाहं स्थापयित्वाग्रे नक्षत्रे भगदैवते,तब पिताने अपनी कन्या प्रमद्वराका रुकुके लिये वाग्दान कर दिया और आगामी उत्तरफाल्गुनी नक्षत्रमें विवाहका मुहूर्त निश्चित किया
tataḥ prādāt pitā kanyāṃ rurave tāṃ pramadvarām | vivāhaṃ sthāpayitvāgre nakṣatre bhagadaivate ||
Rồi phụ thân nàng đem Pramadvārā đính ước cho Ruru. Sau khi sắp đặt hôn lễ từ trước, ông ấn định ngày cưới vào thời khắc cát tường của chòm sao do Bhaga chủ quản (Uttaraphālgunī).
