गुरोरुष्प सकाशे तु दशवर्षशतानि स: । अनुज्ञात: कचो गन्तुमियेष त्रिदशालयम्‌,कचने एक हजार वर्षोतक गुरुके समीप रहकर अपना व्रत पूरा कर लिया। तब घर जानेकी अनुमति मिल जानेपर कचने देवलोकमें जानेका विचार किया

Transliteration

guror uśpasa-kāśe tu daśa-varṣa-śatāni saḥ | anujñātaḥ kaco gantum iyeṣa tridaśālayam ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: Kaca đã ở bên thầy mình là Uśanas trọn một trăm thập niên năm tháng, hoàn tất giới nguyện và kỷ luật tu học. Khi được cho phép ra đi, chàng quyết lên đường đến cõi trời, nơi ngự của chư thiên—khép lại đúng đạo nghĩa quãng phụng sự lâu dài của người học trò và lời cáo biệt cung kính sau khi tròn bổn phận với guru.
