Yayāti–Devayānī Dialogue and Śukra’s Consent
इतीदमुक्त्वा स महानुभाव- स्तपोनिधीनां निधिरप्रमेय: । तान् दानवान् दैवविमूढबुद्धी - निदं समाहूय वचो<भ्युवाच,ऐसा कहकर तपस्याकी निधियोंकी निधि, अप्रमेय शक्तिशाली महानुभाव शुक्राचार्यने दैवने जिनकी बुद्धिको मोहित कर दिया था उन दानवोंको बुलाया और इस प्रकार कहा --
itīdam uktvā sa mahānubhāvas tapo-nidhīnāṁ nidhir aprameyaḥ | tān dānavān daiva-vimūḍha-buddhīn idaṁ samāhūya vaco 'bhyuvāca ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Nói xong như vậy, Śukrācārya lẫy lừng—một sức mạnh không thể lường, kho tàng giữa những kho tàng công đức khổ hạnh—liền triệu tập các Dānava, những kẻ bị số mệnh làm mờ trí, và nói với họ bằng những lời này.
