Yayāti–Devayānī Dialogue and Śukra’s Consent
न निवर्तेत् पुनर्जीवन् कश्चिदन्यो ममोदरात् । ब्राह्मणं वर्जयित्वैंकं तस्माद् विद्यामवाप्रुहि,केवल एक ब्राह्णको छोड़कर दूसरा कोई ऐसा नहीं है, जो मेरे पेटसे पुनः जीवित निकल सके। इसलिये तुम विद्या ग्रहण करो
na nivartet punarjīvan kaścid anyo mamodarāt | brāhmaṇaṁ varjayitvaikaṁ tasmād vidyām avāpruhi ||
Śukra nói: “Không ai khác có thể từ trong bụng ta bước ra mà còn sống—ngoại trừ một brāhmaṇa duy nhất. Vì thế, hãy cầu lấy và thọ nhận minh tri thức ấy.”
