Kaca–Devayānī Dialogue and the Curse on Vidyā
न्यमन्त्रयत चाप्येनां सा चाप्यैच्छदनिन्दिता । तौ तत्र सुचिरं कालमुभौ व्यहरतां तदा
nyamantrayac cāpy enāṃ sā cāpy aicchad aninditā | tau tatra suciraṃ kālam ubhau vyaharatāṃ tadā ||
Kaṇva nói: Ngài mời nàng thuận theo mình, và nàng—vốn không điều gì đáng chê trách—cũng ưng thuận. Tại nơi ấy, hai người sống bên nhau rất lâu, cùng nhau trải qua tháng ngày trong tình bạn đời.
