अग्निशाप-प्रसंगः
Agni’s Curse and the Restoration of Ritual Order
सौतिर्वाच एवमस्त्विति तं वह्रि: प्रत्युवाच पितामहम् । जगाम शासन कर्तु देवस्य परमेछ्ठिन:,उग्रश्रवाजी कहते हैं--यह सुनकर अग्निदेवने पितामह ब्रह्माजीसे कहा--“एवमस्तु (ऐसा ही हो)।” यों कहकर वे भगवान् ब्रह्माजीके आदेशका पालन करनेके लिये चल दिये
sautir uvāca—evam astv iti taṃ vahniḥ pratyuvāca pitāmaham | jagāma śāsanaṃ kartuṃ devasya parameṣṭhinaḥ ||
Ugraśravas (Sauti) nói: Nghe vậy, Agni thưa với Đấng Tổ Phụ Brahmā: “Xin được như thế.” Nói xong, ngài liền lên đường để thi hành mệnh lệnh của thần Parameṣṭhin (Brahmā).
