Duḥṣantasya Vana-praveśaḥ
King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt
तथा स्फीतो जनपदो मुदितश्च भविष्यति | एवं महात्मना तेन महेन्द्रेण नराधिप,“इतना ही नहीं, उनका सारा जनपद ही उत्तरोत्तर उन्नतिशील और प्रसन्न होगा।' राजन! इस प्रकार महात्मा महेन्द्रने, जिन्हें मघवा भी कहते हैं, प्रेमपूर्वक महाराज वसुका भलीभाँति सत्कार किया। जो मनुष्य भूमि तथा रत्न आदिका दान करते हुए सदा देवराज इन्द्रका उत्सव रचायेंगे, वे इन्द्रोत्सवद्वारा इन्द्रका वरदान पाकर उसी उत्तम गतिको पा जायँगे, जिसे भूमिदान आदिके पुण्योंसे युक्त मानव प्राप्त करते हैं
tathā sphīto janapado muditaś ca bhaviṣyati | evaṃ mahātmanā tena mahendreṇa narādhipa |
“Vì thế, cõi nước ấy sẽ ngày càng thịnh vượng, và dân chúng sẽ hân hoan vui mừng. Theo cách ấy, tâu Đại vương, bậc đại hồn Mahendra (Indra) đã được tôn kính đúng phép với lòng mến kính.”
