Śṛṅgī’s Curse on King Parikṣit

स नो बहुमतान्‌ राजा बुद्धया बुद्धिमतां वर: । यज्ञार्थ प्रक्ष्यति व्यक्त नेति वक्ष्यामहे वयम्‌

sa no bahumatān rājā buddhyā buddhimatāṁ varaḥ | yajñārthaṁ prakṣyati vyakta neti vakṣyāmahe vayam ||

“Chúng ta sẽ ở đó, được tin cậy và kính trọng sâu xa. Vì thế, vua Janamejaya—bậc nhất trong hàng người trí—ắt sẽ hỏi chúng ta rõ ràng để biết ý kiến về lễ tế. Khi ấy, chúng ta sẽ nói thẳng: ‘Đừng cử hành lễ tế.’”
