Vāsuki’s Anxiety and Brahmā’s Confirmation
सौतिर्वाच बहुत्वान्नामधेयानि पन्नगानां तपोधन । न कीर्तयिष्ये सर्वेषां प्राधान्येन तु मे शृूणु,उग्रश्रवाजीने कहा--तपोधन! सर्पोंकी संख्या बहुत है; अतः उन सबके नाम तो नहीं कहूँगा, किंतु उनमें जो मुख्य-मुख्य सर्प हैं, उनके नाम मुझसे सुनिये
sautir uvāca bahutvān nāmadheyāni pannagānāṃ tapodhana | na kīrtayiṣye sarveṣāṃ prādhānyena tu me śṛṇu ||
Ugraśravas, con trai của Sūta, nói: “Hỡi bậc khổ hạnh giàu công phu, loài nāga đông vô kể; vì thế ta sẽ không đọc hết tên của tất cả. Nhưng hãy nghe ta kể những vị đứng đầu trong số họ.”
