यजत: पुत्रकामस्य कश्यपस्य प्रजापते: । साहाय्यमृषयो देवा गन्धर्वाश्व ददु: किल,कहते हैं, प्रजापति कश्यपजी पुत्रकी कामनासे यज्ञ कर रहे थे, उसमें ऋषियों, देवताओं तथा गन्धर्वोने भी उन्हें बड़ी सहायता दी

yajataḥ putrakāmasya kaśyapasya prajāpateḥ |
sāhāyyam ṛṣayo devā gandharvāś ca daduḥ kila ||
Người ta kể rằng: khi Prajāpati Kaśyapa, khát khao có con, đang cử hành tế lễ, thì các hiền giả, chư thiên và các Gandharva cũng đã trợ giúp ngài rất nhiều.
