तान् सर्वान् विस्मयाविष्टो वीर्योन्मत्त: पुरन्दर: । अवहस्याभ्यगाच्छीघ्रं लड॒घयित्वावमन्य च,अपने बलके घमंडमें मतवाले इन्द्रने आश्वर्ययचकित होकर उन सबको देखा और उनकी हँसी उड़ाते हुए वे अपमानपूर्वक उन्हें लाँधघकर शीघ्रताके साथ आगे बढ़ गये
tān sarvān vismayāviṣṭo vīryonmattaḥ purandaraḥ | avahasyābhyagāc chīghraṃ laṅghayitvāvamanya ca ||
Śaunaka nói: Indra, Purandara—kẻ phá thành—say men vì tự phụ sức mạnh của mình, nhìn họ tất cả với vẻ kinh ngạc; rồi ngài cười nhạo, khinh miệt, và bước nhanh qua, vượt lên trên họ như thể họ chẳng đáng kể gì.
