Garuḍa–Śakra Saṃvāda and the Retrieval of Amṛta (गरुड–शक्र संवादः अमृत-अपहरण-प्रसङ्गः)
न-आऔका-<० ड-ण करा - “कनिष्छान् पुत्रवत् पश्येज्ज्येष्ठो भ्राता पितु: समः' अर्थात् “बड़ा भाई पिताके समान होता है। वह अपने छोटे भाइयोंको पुत्रके समान देखे।” यह शास्त्रकी आज्ञा है। जिनमें फूट हो जाती है
Ugraśravā uvāca— spṛṣṭamātrā tu pādābhyāṃ sā garuḍena balīyasā | abhajyata taroḥ śākhā bhagnāṃ cainām adhārayat ||
Ugraśravas nói: “Hỡi Śaunaka và các bậc đại hiền! Chỉ vừa khi đôi chân của Garuḍa hùng lực chạm khẽ vào đó, cành lớn của cây ấy đã gãy răng rắc. Nhưng dẫu đã gãy, chàng vẫn kịp nắm giữ cành ấy, không để nó rơi xuống—một việc làm cho thấy sức mạnh vô song và sự tự chế để khỏi gây hại cho kẻ khác.”
