स तप्यमान: पुत्रार्थे लपितामिदमब्रवीत् | कथं नु शक्ता: शरणे लपिते मम पुत्रका:,पुत्रोंके लिये संतप्त होते हुए वे लपितासे बोले--“लपिते! मेरे बच्चे अपने घोंसलेमें कैसे बच सकेंगे?
sa tapyamānaḥ putrārthe lapitām idam abravīt | kathaṃ nu śaktāḥ śaraṇe lapite mama putrakāḥ |
Vaiśampāyana nói: Bị nỗi lo vì con cái giày vò, ông nói với Lapitā những lời này: “Hỡi Lapitā, làm sao những đứa con bé bỏng của ta có thể sống sót trong chốn nương thân—trong tổ—của chúng?”
