यदग्ने ते शिवं रूप॑ ये च ते सप्त हेतय: । तेन नः परिपाहि त्वमार्त्तान्‌ वै शरणैषिण:,अग्ने! आपका जो कल्याणमय स्वरूप है तथा आपकी जो सात ज्वालाएँ हैं, उन सबके द्वारा आप शरणमें आनेकी इच्छावाले हम आर्त प्राणियोंकी रक्षा कीजिये

Transliteration

yad agne te śivaṁ rūpaṁ ye ca te sapta hetayaḥ | tena naḥ paripāhi tvam ārttān vai śaraṇaiṣiṇaḥ ||

Translation

Hỡi Agni! Nhờ hình tướng cát tường của Ngài và bảy sức lửa rực cháy của Ngài, xin che chở chúng con—những kẻ khốn cùng đang tìm nơi nương tựa—hỡi Agni!
