ततो5शनिमुचो घोरांस्तडित्स्तनितनि:स्वनान् | तद्विघातार्थमसृजदर्जुनो 5प्यस्त्रमुत्तमम्
tato ’śanimuco ghorāṁs taḍit-stanita-niḥsvanān | tad-vighātārtham asṛjad arjuno ’py astram uttamam vāyavyam ||
Rồi những đám mây sấm dữ dằn, rực chớp và gầm vang, bắt đầu ném những tia sét xuống mặt đất. Để đối trị cuộc công kích ấy, Arjuna—bậc tinh thông khoa học hóa giải vũ khí—đã trì chú và phóng ra vũ khí thượng hạng mang danh Vāyavya; nhờ đó, sức mạnh và uy lực của lưỡi tầm sét của Indra cùng bão vân đều bị tiêu diệt.
