नरनारायणोौ यौ तौ पूर्वदेवी विभावसो । सम्प्राप्ती मानुषे लोके कार्यार्थ हि दिवौकसाम्‌,“विभावसो! आदिदेव नर और नारायण मुनि इस समय देवताओंका कार्य सिद्ध करनेके लिये मनुष्यलोकमें अवतीर्ण हुए हैं

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca | nara-nārāyaṇau yau tau pūrva-devī vibhāvaso | samprāptī mānuṣe loke kāryārthaṃ hi divaukasām ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Hỡi Vibhāvasu (Agni), hai vị thánh hiền thần thánh thuở nguyên sơ—Nara và Nārāyaṇa—nay đã đến cõi người để hoàn thành công việc của chư thiên.”
